This is a lawsuit by several Hammersmith Trust investors to recover damages from Hammersmith Trust and David Gilliland resulting from their unpaid investment. The case was originally filed in San Francisco, California and was then transferred to Dallas after the receivership was put in place. The Receiver has agreed to give each investor an Agreed Judgment in an amount equal to their respective net loss. On October 12, 2000, the Court entered the Agreed Final Judgments against Hammersmith Trust. On February 15, 2001, the Court entered similar Agreed Final Judgments against David Gilliland. These documents can be viewed below. All matters with respect to this case have now been concluded.
