General Information/ Current Status:

This lawsuit seeks to recover a $140,000.00 settlement obligation from a business associate of Stan Leitner. On May 24, 2007, the Receiver filed his Complaint. On June 18, 2007, Defendant Financial Risk Specialists, Inc. filed its Answer and Defendant Allan Clark filed his Answer.

On September 19, 2007, the parties filed a Stipulation of Dismissal indicating that they had settled all of the claims between them for $100,000.00. The Receiver was able to obtain Court approval of that settlement because it likely reflects the highest recovery available with the least expense to the receivership estate. The Court entered its Final Order of Dismissal on September 21, 2007.
